Why we're telling you this
This form collects the name and email of the staff member completing it, and of other teachers at the school who have not filled it in themselves. Because it collects personal information — including about people other than the person submitting it — Australian privacy law (the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), Australian Privacy Principle 5) requires SAVILE Learning to tell you, at or before the time of collection, who is collecting it, why, who else may see it, whether it goes overseas, and how to ask questions or make a complaint. If you are listing other teachers, please make them aware of this notice.
Who is collecting it
SAVILE Learning, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 45452), is collecting this information — not the provider that built this form. Contact: Joshua Miller, josh@savilerto.com.au, 0422 017 767.
What we collect and why
The school's name and address; the responding staff member's name and email; the VET Coordinator's name and email; the names and emails of any other teachers listed against a course; and expected student numbers per course.
We use this to arrange and auspice VET delivery at the school for the relevant year, confirm nominated teachers hold the required qualifications, schedule resources and assessment materials, and invoice for confirmed numbers.
What happens if you don't provide it
If required details are not provided, SAVILE Learning may be unable to auspice VET delivery, verify teacher qualifications, or issue the Auspicing Agreement for that course.
Who it may be disclosed to
Your Auspicing Agreement is sent for signature via DocuSeal, an electronic signature provider acting on SAVILE Learning's behalf. Information may also be disclosed to the national VET regulator (ASQA) and other bodies SAVILE must report to as the issuing RTO. SAVILE does not sell this information or disclose it for any other purpose.
Overseas disclosure
Some information may be stored or processed outside Australia by our service providers. In particular, the global DocuSeal Cloud (docuseal.com) is hosted on AWS in the US East (Virginia) data centre. Where this occurs, SAVILE Learning takes reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Access, correction, complaints, and our Privacy Policy
A teacher named on this form (or the school on their behalf) can ask to see or correct their information, or raise a concern about how it has been handled, by contacting SAVILE Learning at info@savilerto.com.au.
