1. Parties and purpose
This agreement is between SAVILE (Registered Training Organisation) and the school named in the accompanying Student Number Confirmation form. It sets out the basis on which SAVILE auspices the delivery of nationally recognised vocational education and training at the school for the school year stated in that form.
2. Scope of auspicing
SAVILE retains responsibility as the issuing Registered Training Organisation for the qualifications and units of competency confirmed by the school. The school delivers training and conducts assessment under SAVILE's scope of registration, using SAVILE's training and assessment strategies, assessment tools, and validation processes.
3. Teaching staff and qualifications
The school confirms that every teacher nominated to deliver or assess a qualification under this agreement holds the applicable TAE qualification (TAE40122, TAE40116, TAE40110, or the Assessor Skill Set), together with the vocational competency and current industry currency required for the units they deliver. The school will notify SAVILE promptly if a nominated teacher ceases to meet these requirements.
4. Student numbers and confirmation
The student numbers entered in the accompanying form are the school's good-faith confirmation of expected enrolments. The school will advise SAVILE of material changes as early as practicable, so that resources, assessment materials, and any SAVILE-delivered course components can be scheduled.
5. Records, compliance, and audit
The school will maintain student records, evidence of assessment, and attendance information in the form required by SAVILE, and will make those records available to SAVILE on request. The school will co-operate with SAVILE in any validation, moderation, internal audit, or external regulatory audit activity relating to training delivered under this agreement.
6. Fees and invoicing
Fees are calculated on the confirmed student numbers and the course components selected in the form, at the rates published by SAVILE for the relevant school year. Invoicing terms, instalments, and any adjustments arising from changes to student numbers are as set out in SAVILE's fee schedule for that year.
7. Privacy and student information
Both parties will handle student personal information in accordance with applicable privacy law and the requirements of the national VET regulator. Student information is collected and shared only for the purposes of delivering, assessing, reporting, and certifying the training covered by this agreement.
8. Term and variation
This agreement applies for the school year stated in the accompanying form. Variations must be agreed in writing between SAVILE and the school. Either party may raise concerns about delivery, compliance, or resourcing at any time, and both parties will work in good faith to resolve them.
9. Acknowledgement
By ticking the acknowledgement box on the Student Number Confirmation form, the person completing the form confirms that they have read and understand this agreement, and that they are authorised to make this confirmation on behalf of the school. That acknowledgement is recorded with the document version, the server time of acceptance, and the name and email address of the person accepting. It is separate from, and does not replace, the agreement that follows by email for electronic signature.
